FAQs

Information that will help you prepare for a seamless retreat, at any ARC.

An ARC Retreat is a hosted experience held at one of our design-led country houses across the UK. Each retreat is curated by a trusted individual or brand—ranging from wellness practitioners to creative collectives—offering a focused, shared experience in a private setting.

Retreats are open to anyone who resonates with the focus of the event. This may include creative professionals, wellness seekers, entrepreneurs, or those looking for space to reset. Each retreat is different. Some are quiet and reflective, others more active or collaborative. The host sets the tone.

You can browse upcoming retreats on our website, each with a clear overview of focus, dates, schedule, and what’s included. If you have questions about fit, reach out to the host directly via the listing.

Each retreat includes accommodation, daily meals (usually prepared by a private chef), and the full retreat programme. Extras such as treatments, local excursions, or workshops may vary per retreat. Details are clearly listed in each retreat description.

You’ll stay in one of ARC’s architect-designed houses—private, beautifully furnished, and purpose-built for shared time. Bedrooms range from en-suite doubles to well-appointed singles. Communal areas are generous, with state-of-the-art kitchens, spacious lounges, and outdoor spaces.

Yes. During the retreat, the house is exclusively yours and your group’s. No shared spaces, no strangers. Just your host, your group, and the house team supporting in the background.

Each retreat is led by an experienced individual or company. ARC selects partners who align with our standards of care, clarity, and quality. All retreat leaders are responsible for their own programmes, and ARC provides the environment for it to run smoothly.

The retreat host will send you a welcome pack in advance, including a suggested packing list, travel info, and schedule overview. Most retreats are designed to be low-effort and high-comfort—just arrive ready to take part.

All meals are prepared in-house, usually by a private chef or local cook. Menus are seasonal, generous, and considered. Dietary needs are accommodated—just let your host know in advance.
