Formerly a listed Manor House, Courthouse, and Mill, the building is filled with a sense of history as well as its own unique character and sense of place. Lounge in the luxurious living spaces or enjoy a special meal together in the grand dining room that's flooded with that inimitable Cornish coastal light. One of our favourite things about this home has to be the garden, and we think it is the perfect place to sit back with a glass of wine and really savour that holiday feeling. The hot tub is at your disposal throughout your stay. Join us solo, or better yet, come with your best friend, sister or another incredible woman in your life for a weekend retreat that blends relaxation, literature, and laughter.

I'm a lifelong book lover and founder of this unique community for women who share my passion for reading and travel. While travelling full-time across Central America and Europe, I found myself devouring book after book but missing a space to connect with others about the stories I’d read. So, I decided to create one.
Whether it’s through our vibrant WhatsApp community, relaxed virtual meet-ups (wine optional but encouraged!), or immersive Reading Retreats, I’m here to help women carve out time for connection, relaxation, and self-care.

With a collection of purposefully restored homes across the UK, ARC promises guests the luxury of a boutique hotel without compromise.
With Cornish slated walls, original beams and restored fireplaces, ARC Padstow has been returned to its glory days as an 18th century manor house. Having served as both a mill and a courthouse, it’s now an ideal venue for trips away – with a bar area, Swedish-style hot tub, kids’ playroom and fire pit..
Every ARC is newly renovated and designed for large groups - combining stunning architecture and interiors with state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor kitchens, spacious communal areas and extensive amenities.
Expect modern ensuites, 1,000 pocket spring luxury mattresses, Egyptian cotton bedding, bespoke ARC welcome jumpers and LA-EVA organic toiletries as standard, whilst enjoying facilities such as hot tubs, swimming pools, cinema rooms and fire pits.
