Your Venue
With a collection of purposefully restored homes across the UK, ARC promises guests the luxury of a boutique hotel without compromise.
With Cornish slated walls, original beams and restored fireplaces, ARC Padstow has been returned to its glory days as an 18th century manor house. Having served as both a mill and a courthouse, it’s now an ideal venue for trips away with friends or family, corporate stays or wellness retreats – with a bar area, Swedish-style hot tub, kids’ playroom and fire pit.
Every ARC is newly renovated and designed for large groups - combining stunning architecture and interiors with state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor kitchens, spacious communal areas and extensive amenities.
Expect modern ensuites, 1,000 pocket spring luxury mattresses, Egyptian cotton bedding, bespoke ARC welcome jumpers and LA-EVA organic toiletries as standard, whilst enjoying facilities such as hot tubs, swimming pools, cinema rooms and fire pits.

About The Trip
Who I will be travelling with?
You’ll be travelling and staying with a group of like-minded people. From the start of your booking journey we work hard to match you with guests that share similar interests based on the information you share with us. With that in mind, the more you share the better the fit you will experience with your group.
What's included in the price?
All food, accommodation, activities and transfers are included. All you need to pay for is your transport, whether by train, plane or automobile. You may wish to tip your guide, private chef or host but this is entirely at your discretion and by no means obligatory.
How do rooms work?
You select a room on booking and there are usually several options to choose from: Suites - for couples that are travelling together and want that extra bit of luxury we recommend a king-sized double.
Twin rooms - two single beds shared with a friend or like-minded guest. These are often larger rooms to accommodate the extra need for space.
Solo doubles - smaller rooms that are perfect for solo travelers that want their own room and some enhanced privacy.
We don’t charge single occupancy supplements and instead encourage room sharing with a 50% discount for anyone sharing, either as a couple, with a friend or a like-minded guest.
Most of our rooms will have en-suite facilities, however some share a bathroom with an adjacent room, so please check the listing on booking.
How do I book my trip?
Reservations are confirmed via the payment of a non-refundable deposit on booking with the balance paid two months before travel. If your trip falls within the next two months you will need to make the payment in full.
Dietary Requirements
All our trips are fully catered and cater for all dietary restrictions. Please notify us on booking of any dietary requirements and if anything changes please let us know.
Getting There
All our trips are accessible via car, however we encourage guests to travel via train and provide free transfers to and from a local train station. Please contact the concierge team if any of these additional services are required.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings are subject to the cancellation charges outlined in Wilderness Retreat's Cancellation Policy. If you do need to cancel we will endeavour to transfer your trip to an alternate date or provide you with a credit.
